EigenLayer is an A16Z backed protocol that extends the blockchain’s crypto-economic security to new use cases via distributed systems and re-staking mechanisms. The Eigen Foundation (EgF) operates as the governance and ecosystem-building arm of the protocol, driving its growth, sustainability, and community engagement.
We are seeking a seasoned Global Events Lead to lead the strategic planning and execution of Eigen Foundation’s premier events worldwide. This is a critical role in a rapidly growing organization that demands deep expertise in Web3 event management, cross-functional coordination, and large-scale project execution. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing high-profile events—from VIP dinners to large-scale industry summits—and an exceptional ability to align event strategies with business objectives, drive operational efficiency, and deliver world-class experiences.
Position Description
As the Global Events Lead, you will be responsible for executing a high-impact event strategy that enhances EigenLayer’s visibility, engagement, and thought leadership in the crypto / a.i. space. You will manage end-to-end event operations, including vendor negotiations, legal and financial oversight, and event design. Your role will require strategic collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and maximum brand impact. You will oversee all aspects of event management—from initial concept and budgeting to execution and post-event analysis. Your ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, coupled with a meticulous approach to planning and execution, will ensure the continued success of EigenLayer’s event initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Execution

Develop and lead Eigen Foundation’s global event strategy, including private VIP experiences, sponsorship activations, large-scale industry summits, and curated developer and investor gatherings.

Own the planning and execution of major Eigen Foundation-hosted and sponsored events, ensuring alignment with overarching marketing and business goals.

Manage all facets of event logistics, including venue sourcing, budgeting, vendor procurement, compliance, and contract negotiation.

Oversee event branding, ambiance, and production to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for attendees.

Act as the primary on-site point of contact for major events, ensuring seamless execution and rapid problem-solving.

Establish and document best practices for event execution, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency across global initiatives.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management

Serve as the primary liaison between Eigen Foundation and external event agencies, production teams, venues, and AV providers.

Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Ecosystem Growth, Devrel, Operations, and Legal teams to align event planning with key business priorities.

Manage external sponsorship relationships, ensuring that Eigen Foundation maximizes visibility and ROI from industry partnerships.

Work closely with the Finance team to optimize event spending and maintain financial accountability.

Oversee contract negotiations and compliance requirements to minimize risk and ensure successful execution of event agreements.
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

Drive continuous improvement in event planning processes by implementing robust project management workflows and reporting mechanisms.

Develop clear operational roadmaps, event playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in event execution.

Identify key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure event success, including attendee engagement, brand impact, and lead generation.

Optimize budget allocations and event resource planning to enhance operational efficiency and maximize cost-effectiveness.

Implement risk management strategies to address logistical, financial, and reputational challenges associated with large-scale event execution.
Audience Experience & Brand Impact

Ensure every EigenLayer event delivers a high-caliber experience for developers, token holders, investors, partners, and institutional stakeholders.

Leverage industry trends and audience insights to enhance event content, format, and engagement strategies.

Develop innovative activations and experiences that reinforce EigenLayer’s leadership position in the crypto and a.i. industry.

Collaborate with content and design teams to produce compelling event marketing materials, stage designs, and presentation formats.
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in event planning, operations, or experiential marketing, with a strong focus on Web3, blockchain, or high-growth technology sectors.

Proven track record of managing multi-faceted, large-scale events, including global summits, VIP engagements, and high-profile brand activations.

Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to balance big-picture planning with hands-on execution.

Exceptional stakeholder and vendor management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and negotiating complex contracts.

Deep financial acumen, including expertise in budget planning, cost analysis, and financial forecasting for large-scale event operations.

Excellent project management capabilities, with a meticulous approach to timelines, deliverables, and execution.

Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 50% (domestically and internationally) as required for event execution.

In-depth understanding of the blockchain ecosystem and a passion for EigenLayer’s mission.

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling event strategies and report outcomes effectively to senior leadership.
