Disclosure Regarding Onchain Transactions

Last Revised on June 5, 2024

The EIGEN contract has codified a global transfer restriction, which prevents EIGEN transfers between most addresses until the transfer restriction is removed by the EigenLayer community (the “Global Transfer Restriction”). While the Global Transfer Restriction remains in effect, select addresses have been codified in the EIGEN contract as AllowedTo and AllowedFrom addresses to permit the execution of certain onchain transactions in accordance with agreements relating to grants, acquisitions of intellectual property, service providers, custody, and risk management. Although such onchain EIGEN transactions may precede removal of the transfer restrictions, the recipient addresses will remain subject to the Global Transfer Restriction.
